Ibn Taymiyyah wa Mawqufuhu min at-Turath as-Sufi

This is a very informative research in which the author attempts to demonstrate Shaykh al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah's position with Sufism. He takes several of the Sufi Imams, gives a sufficient biography, establishes several of their positions and then compares them to that of Ibn Taymiyyah and exposes the latter's statements against them.

It is a richly informative research on many levels, both the positions of Ibn Taymiyyah and the great figures of Sufism and their positions in terms of belief and practice.

A beautiful Saudi edition of over 900 pages.
