Ibn al-Atheer (606H) compiled in his book the following six books of Hadith: al-Muwatta, Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawud, Sunan al-Tirmidhi and Sunan al-Nassai.
The Hadiths are organized into themes, chapters and subchapters. To facilitate the search, al-Hafidh ibn Athir listed the chapters in alphabetical order rather than in the order of the case law chapters (as this differs according to collections or legal schools).
Other exceptional things, the author, a great specialist of the Hadith, takes the trouble to explain the important words of the Hadiths.
The chains of the Hadiths have been suppressed, except for the name of the Sahabi which records the Hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
This exceptional collection of thousands of hadiths, gathered in 13 volumes, is verified and annotated by Sheikh Abd al-Qadir al-Arnaout and his students, and he gives in annotations the references of each Hadith and its degree of authenticity according to the great Muhaddith.
