Shaykh al-'Uthaymeen said : « Zaad al-Mustaqni’ fî Ikhtissaar al-Muqni’ - de Hadjaawee.  This is one of the best texts of fiqh. This is a common book, brief and blessed. Our master, the scholar Shaykh Abd-Rahman as-Sa'di (rahimahullaah) recommended us memorization. Yet he himself had learned by heart the text entitled: Dalîl at-taalib. » [see Kitaab al-Ilm p.92]
