Ph.D. thesis, in which the author endeavored to identify the principles and legal rules of Imam Malik cited in the huge book of reference, al-Mudawana al-Kubra of Imam Sahnun.

He began his search by the Imams who are in the chain of Sahnoun until Imam Malik, he then classified and organized the Qawa'id. Finally the rest of the book lists, explains and summarizes the legal rules by Fiqh chapter presented in the Moudawana.

Very nice edition in 2 volumes, all sources (hadith, athars, quotes) are referenced.
