Imam al-Ghazali is one of the greatest figures of Islam, one of those who marked their time, who continued to mark the generations that followed, and who marked their Juridical and Doctrinal school.
After having studied in depth many sciences, both religious and philosophical, al-Ghazali came with this book to denounce the invalidity of Philosophy in the face of Faith, although he himself is an Asharite and a practitioner of 'Ilm al-Kalam, he wanted to clarify through this book the falsity of making logic an absolute point as unfortunately some scholars like Avicenna. He thus establishes that Faith must always dominate philosophy and logic in divine and metaphysical questions.
