The reality of the highest attribute and its implications by Dr Issa bin Abdullah Al-Sa'di.
This research investigates the meaning of "the highest attribute" in the Quranic verse: "And to Allah belongs the highest attribute" (al-Mathal al-A’laa). The author notes that there is diversity in how the early scholars interpreted this verse. This diversity led some theologians (Ahl al-Kalam) to interpret the verse according to their own inclinations, using it to deny Allah's attributes, which is incorrect.
The book is divided into two sections. The first section explains the concept of "the highest attribute," its various uses, the expressions of early scholars in interpreting it, and how these interpretations can be reconciled. The second section discusses the implications and significances of "the highest attribute," and responds to the errors of the theologians (mutakallimun).
