The Basmalah in Surah al-Fatihah - al-Imam as-Suyuti

Here is a small epistle of Imam Jalal ad-Din as-Suyouti on the importance of the Basmalah and his judgment in prayer. Indeed some of the scholars see that the Basmalah is a verse of the Fatiha and that as such, the one who does not recite it in his prayer sees his prayer canceled because he truncated the surah.
