Ibn al-Barizi had a particular interest in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, so he wanted to present a book that allowed people to read both Sahihs, including the hadiths they agreed upon as well as those narrated individually by each. He based his work on the book Al-Jam' Bayn al-Sahihayn by Abu Abdullah al-Humaydi, using it as his primary source, but he focused solely on the sayings of the Prophet (hadith qawli) without including reports of his actions or approvals (taqrirat).
The author began his book with Qudsi hadiths, then organized its chapters based on the opening words of the hadiths. For example, he created chapters for hadiths that begin with "Inna" and "Man," etc. The book is methodically arranged, with each hadith assigned a specific number, its reference in Al-Humaydi's Al-Jam' Bayn al-Sahihayn, and a letter symbol indicating the companion who narrated it.
The editor, Hussein al-Darghami, contributed high-quality annotations that correct mistakes and omissions found in Al-Humaydi's book.
Beautiful, verified edition, 100% Harakat, never been published before.
