Tuhfatu Dhaakireen (Adhkaar) - Ash-Shawkaanee

Tuhfah adh-Dhakirin is the explanation of Imam ash-Shawkani of a book on Dhikr and Adhkar written by Imam al-Jaziri (the specialist in Quran readings and Tajwid) entitled 'Uddatu al-Hisn Wal-Hasin min Kalam Sayid al-Mursalin.

It is a very good collection, the first chapter talks about the Dhikr in Islam, its importance, its place, its sorts; The second chapter deals with the granting of requests and responses to invocations; Then the following chapters bring together the various adhkar linked to adorations, everyday life, relationships with others, etc. ; Finally the book concludes on the dhikr by the Quran recalling the suras recommended to read as protection or dikhr.

Imam Chawkani comments on the aforementioned hadiths and their degree of authenticity, explains certain expressions or passages to clarify to the reader the practice of these different adhkars.
