Regarding the murders committed in Mecca - Al-Bouhouti

The context of the Risala is as follows: in 1041, a notable of Mecca decides to take control of it by rising against the ruler in place at the time, causing during this rebellion the death of 200 Meccans. The Ottoman Caliph will be called to the rescue but the matting of the rebellion will cause deaths again, especially on the side of the attackers.

Imam Mansur ibn Yunus al-Buhuti, Imam of the Hanabila of his time and reference of his Madhhab, therefore decided to write a Risala following these events to clarify what the Shari'ah allows and does not allow to deal with the unjust rebels, the warring enemies, the rebels and the apostates, and this in general in some cases and especially on the blessed land of the Haram of Makkah.
