Al-Mu'jam ad-Dakhil - Dictionary of foreign words introduced in Arabic

Written by the author of the "Books of Medina", this dictionary lists foreign words newly introduced and accepted in the classical Arabic language. In its first edition the author had recorded about 800 words, 40 years later in its last publication, the dictionary Mu'jam ad-Dakheel now has double, or 1600 words.

From all times, the Arabic language has been enriched by the vocabulary of the nearby peoples, so it was Persian, Greek, Turkish, and in our time the majority of new words come from English or French.
