This book is “Sharh As-Soudour bi Sharh hal Al-Mawta wal-Qoubour,” and it is written by Jalal al-Din As-Souyouti. The author spoke about the Barzakh (the Stage between this world and the Hereafter), in which he mentioned death, its virtues, the manner of death, the attribute of the angel of death and his assistants, what happens to the dead when they die, the soul after its separation from the body, and its ascension to Allah, its meeting with other souls, and then its place. And he also spoke about the condition of the grave, its punishment and tightness, what benefit people in the grave; explaining all this from the time of the death throes until one is dead, adding to that the conditions of the Resurrection, the attributes of Paradise and Hellfire and the Signs of the Time.

The book is based on the Book of Allah, the Hadiths of Prophet Muhammad, may Allah’s Peace and Blessing be upon him, and the words of the great Imams of Hadith.
