Bughyat Uli An-Nuha fi Sharh Ghayat Al-Muntaha - Ibn al-Imad al-Hanbali

This book is the most important commentary on the book “Ghayat al-Muntaha fi Jam’ al-Iqna’ wal-Muntaha” and it is the third pillar of the Hanbali school of thought. The doctrine of the later Hanbalis has settled on what is in “Al-Muntaha” which is called “Muntaha al-iradat fi jam' al-muqni' ma'a al-tanqih wa-ziyadat,” by the scholar Taqi Ad-Din Abi Al-Baqa’ Muhammad Ibn Ahmed Ibn Abdul Aziz Al-Fatuhi, known as Ibn An-Najjar who died in 972 AH.

This explanation has been praised by many scholars who are known and with proven expertise in the Hanbali Madhhab; among them Ibn Badran, who stated:  “The book (Ghayat al-Muntaha) has been explained by the scholar, jurist, and writer Abu al-Falah Abd al-Hayy Ibn Muhammad Ibn al-Imad; he has given it a thorough explanation, indicating his jurisprudence and the quality of his writing.” Al-Muhibbi said: “He edited it elegantly.”
