These are the stories, quotes and examples presented by Imam Adh-Dhahabi in his great biography book, Siyar Alam an-Nubala, but classified according to thematic chapters. And these thematic chapters follow the chapters of Riyadh as-Salihin of Imam An-Nawawi.

So the reader can combine the reading of the two, the Khatib can use two sources for his reminder or Khutba, and everyone can simply enjoy this classification by theme to access the pearls of scholars of the Ummah, their noble stories or their inspirational quotes.

Very nice edition in 2 volumes, with the referencing in as-Siyar.
