The author has mentioned at the beginning of the book some important matters in the chapter regarding the faith in the Messengers, may blessings and peace of Allah be upon them; then he mentioned their stories, coupled with the lessons to be learned.

It is a scholarly traditional study of the biographies and stories of the prophets, peace be upon them, about whom Allah Almighty said: “Those are the ones Allah has guided, so follow their way”. It is out of Allah’s Mercy to His creation that He sent messengers to them delivering good news and warnings, introducing people to this Lord, Glory be to Him: His Definition, His Names, His Attributes, His Commands and His Prohibitions to us, and finally the reward for those who obey and the punishment for those who disobey.

Those messengers are the intermediary between Almighty Allah and His creation in conveying the Divine Message. They convey what He wants to communicate to His servants, so they know what will benefit people in their life and the hereafter, and they know what pleases their Lord and what displeases Him.
