Usool Madhhab al-Imaam al-Awzaa'ee

Research on the lost school of Imam al-Awza'i (88-157H), one of the most eminent scholars and Faqih of his time, who settled in the Sham to teach. Although because of his rank of Mujtahid Mutlaq he taught his own school, Allah in his wisdom did not want it to endure or be transmitted as it was the case with the 4 schools that we know.

This research therefore informs us about the methodology of Imam al-Awzaa'ee in the acceptance of evidence, in the deduction from it, in the establishment of rules relating to the establishment of legal judgments. To support his remarks, the author cites as an example legal opinions of the Imam.
