Kitab Gharib al-Qu'ran by Ibn Qutaybah (276H)

This is a very good glossary of the interpretation of the ambiguous words in the Qur’an, arranged by surah. This glossary has a special importance because its scientific material serves the reader of the Qur’an and students.

The author, Imam Ibn Qutaybah is an eminent scholar of the 3ᵉ century AH, who is the author of several specific books dealing with linguistics in general and in scriptural texts.

Excellent edition, very serious, verified from the manuscript, and revised by 2 other professors. The Muhaqqiq wrote useful notes regarding the meaning and the references, and the text has most of the Harakat.
