The Minor Treatise of Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, explained by Muhammad Ibn Ibrahim Al-Hamad.
This is a great little treatise written by Ibn Taymiyyah in response to a question by Abu al-Qasim al-Maghribi.
Sheikh al-Islam began with the advice of Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, to Muadh Ibn Jabal, may Allah be pleased with him: “O Muadh! Fear Allah wherever you are, and follow a bad deed with a good deed and it will wipe it out, and treat people with good manners.”
He then elaborated by mentioning Allah Almighty's right, which is Taqwa (piety), then expiations for bad deeds and the importance of taking care of them, and finally the right of people, which is good character. Finally, he mentioned something about the best deeds after religious duties, as well as knowledge and books.
Very nice Saudi edition.
