الأصول في النحو - ابن السراج

Al-Usul Fi An-Nahw (The Principles or the Foundations of Grammar) by Ibn as-Sarraaj.

This is the first book to contain the basics of the Arabic language based on Sibawayh’s book, summarizing its issues and arranging its chapters in the best order, relying on the approaches of al-Akhfash and the Kufans, in opposition to the principles of the Basrans.

It is a book of special importance for grammarians and for the history of Arabic grammar. The author is one of the scholars of the third century AH, and he compiled in this book chapters on grammar and morphology.
