'Asr as-Sahabah by Abdul-Mun’im Al-Hashimi

This is a collection of documented biographies of many honourable Companions, namely: the four Caliphs, the appointed leaders of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, Al-‘Abaadilah Al-Arba’ah (the four Abdullahs: Abdullah ibn Umar, Abdullah ibn Abbas, Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al-‘As and Abdullah ibn Az-Zubair), Al-Bakka’un (the Companions whose eyes overflowed with tears out of grief when they had nothing to contribute and could not afford a mount to accompany the prophet in one of his invasions), the slaves who converted to Islam and the seven martyrs.

Each biography portrays some of their great situations and wonderful events, glorified by their good qualities and glorious merits.
