Al-Matalib al-Mufidah fi Masa-il al-'Aqidah - Tariq ibn Said al-Qahtani

A valuable and very interesting educational book about authentic Aqidah. The author develops chapter after chapter of Aqidah topics and concisely cites contradictory positions and the refutation that goes with them. The topics are well detailed and organised so that the reader fully understands the ins and outs of the issue. For example, for the Sifat of Allah, the author has made a chapter for each Sifat on which there is a divergence of interpretation, and has not just quoted the rules with some examples.

In the appendix of the book is a final gem, a detailed list of the books of Aqida written during the first 4 centuries. For each book, the author summarises the particularities and important things to know.
