Al-Hidayah ila Bulugh an-Nihayah - Makki Al-Qissi (437H)

The author is named Mekki ibn Abi Talib al-Qissi (355-437H) is a great scholar native of Qayrawan, Tunisia. He will travel to Egypt, Arabia and Andalusia where he will study with the greatest scholars of his time, Mention may be made in in his hometown as one of its Shaykh none other than ibn Abi Zayd al-Qayrawani, the famous "Little Malik" author of ar-Risalah Treaty.

What makes this unique is Tafseer is first author, who had accumulated a lot of science in the Quran and Tafseer which he summarized and selected the best to deliver this great Tafsir.

And Al-Qissi is as his Shaykh al-Qayrawani, Salafi in Aqeedah, Maliki in madhhab. His words are clear in the names and attributes.

And so overall his Tafsir is excellent and relevant.
