This book, which is an abridged version on the interpretation of the Noble Qur’an (Contemplating the verses of Allah Almighty in the Soul, the Universe and Life), is suitable for the general public, as the Qur’anic page is on its margins. This synopsis is not an interpretation of words, as it is broader than that, but at the same time it is not an interpretation of the verses, analysing their meanings and the sayings of the interpreters therein. Rather, it is a contemplation of the verses of the Holy Qur’an so that the reader understands the meaning of the verse that he reads in a general way, and this gives him a wide opportunity for continuing contemplation and understanding. If he wants to broaden his understanding of a particular verse, he must return to the original interpretation.

The author explains that this interpretation, in its origin, was a compilation of a thousand lessons on the interpretation of the Noble Qur’an, most of which were delivered in the mosque of Sheikh Abdul-Ghani al-Nabulsi in Damascus forty years ago.
