This is a book by Imam Zakaria Al-Ansari Al-Shafi’i (d. 926 AH) on the principles of jurisprudence, in which he explained his own text “Lub Al-Usul (The Core of Principles)”, which is considered an abridgement of the book “Jam’ Al-Jawaami’ fi Usul Al-Fiqh” by Imam Taj al-Din al-Subki.

Sheikh al-Islam Zakariya al-Ansari says in the introduction to the book:

“This is an explanation of my abstract called “Lub Al-Usul), in which I summarised the book “Jam’ Al-Jawaami’”, clarifying its facts, its subtleties, difficult expressions, and revealing its hidden meanings. I have mostly used the style of our sheikh, the scholar and researcher, the eminent Jalal al-Din al-Mahalli, for its smoothness and good authorship, and have called it “The Purpose of Reaching the Explanation of the Core of Usul.” I ask Allah to benefit him, and he is All Sufficient for me, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs.”

A beautiful edition with most of the Harakats, and detailed annotations on the Hadiths.
