Tahrir Tanqeeh Al-Lubab fi Fiqh al-Imam ash-Sha’fi by Shaykh al-Islam Zakariya al-Ansari 

This is an abridgment in jurisprudence according to the school of thought of Imam ash-Sha’fi’, may Allah be pleased with him, in which the author Abu Yahya Zakariya Ibn Muhammad al-Ansari has summarised the synopsis of Imam Abu Zur'a Al-Iraqi, which is called “Tanqeeh al-Lubab”; he also added to it some great benefits for students and scholars alike.

In view of the importance of this book in the field of ash-Sha’fi jurisprudence, Abdul Ra’ouf Ibn Muhammad Al-Kamali was concerned with verifying its text and correcting its errors, especially with regard to the meaning. He also divided the sentences of the book into paragraphs, explaining the obscure words or sentences, and added valuable information to increase the value associated with the text.
