One of the most beautiful books of exhortation, written by a master in this matter, Imam ibn al-Jawzi, who is said that hundreds have repented after his speeches, and that the crying resonated during his lectures.

Because repentance and remorse are the causes to protect against the evil of our works and the bitterness which it will leave here and in the hereafter.

Blessed is the one who follows the example of our father Adam, repenting and imploring forgiveness. And Unhappy is the one who answers the call of Iblis, prouding and turning away.
