At-Tarikh al-Kabir by Imam al-Bukhary

Imam Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Bukhari wrote this huge compilation containing nearly 40,000 biographies of Hadith's narrators when he was only 18 years old. It shows his genius and precociousness, Rahimahu Llah.
The narrators range from the Companions to the contemporaries of Imam al-Bukhari.

This great work enjoys here an excellent Tahqiq with this beautiful Saudi edition of 11 large volumes. Indeed, the Muhaqqiqs were based on more than 10 manuscripts and existing editions in order to bring the best possible version.

In addition to at-Tarikh al-Kabir, there is another book called al-Kunna on the narrators and their Kuniyas, again by Imam al-Bukhari.
Finally, there is a research index to facilitate the use of this very important work in the science of narrators.
