Fath Al-Bari (Explanation of Sahih Al-Bukhari) - Ibn Rajab

Sheikh Abdul-Karim Al-Khudair says about this gem:

"This book, written by Ibn Rajab, may Allah have mercy on him, is one of the most important explanations of Sahih al-Bukhari, and it is a precious book from the most valuable explanations, the most enjoyable and the most beneficial for students of knowledge. It contains the heart and soul of the righteous predecessors. A person feels comfortable, reassured, and relaxed, as if he is addressing the righteous predecessors if he reads this book.

However, the book is not complete, rather it contains many limitations. It only gets up to the Book of Funerals, and it has many limitations, meaning between the Hadith of an-Nu’man Ibn Bashir, may Allah be pleased with him, in the Book of Faith to the next Hadith in the Book of Purity, there are more than two hundred Hadiths missing; and there is great knowledge in the explanation of these Hadiths from the knowledge of the righteous predecessors!
