Adwae Islamiya ala ba'd al-Afkar al-Khatia

This book is an abridgement and simplification of "Bayan Talbis al-Jahmiyyah" by Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, in which he refuted Fakhr al-Din al-Razi's work "Ta'sis al-Taqdis." Al-Razi's book had become a reference for those who interpret divine attributes figuratively, particularly the Ash'arites. Ibn Taymiyyah's original refutation was extensive, published in ten substantial volumes.
Editor Nader Baltaji provides an introduction explaining the rationale and methodology behind this abridgement. In each chapter, he presents al-Razi's position followed by Ibn Taymiyyah's concise rebuttals. These responses cover various theological topics including the affirmation of divine attributes, God's elevation above the Throne, interpretation of ambiguous verses, and other doctrinal issues. The purpose of this refined edition is to make Ibn Taymiyyah's profound scholarship in this field accessible to a wider audience by simplifying the scholarly content of the original work.
Superb two-volume edition, partially vocalized (some of the Harakats).
