“Al-Muyassar fi ‘Ilm at-Tajweed” is an educational book that meets the needs of those enrolled in courses to improve the recitation of the Holy Quran. The objective of this book is to facilitate the teaching and learning of the rules of Tajweed, based on the first sources of the science of Tajweed, and to benefit from the findings of linguistic phonology in terms of facts related to the nature of the linguistic sound, how it is produced and its diversity.

The author defines the science of Tajweed and mentions its principles, and shows how to pronounce linguistic sounds and their characteristics, the work of the articulators in the oral cavity, and the exits of letters and their characteristics. Then he shows the provisions of improving the phonetic letters: tarqiq (vocal thining), Tafkhim (emphatic articulation), al-Idgham (merging a non-vowel with a vowel) and its types, and the rulings of extension and shortening.

It concludes with a statement of the complements of quality recitation, which are the provisions of stopping and starting, and related issues of Quranic manuscripts.
