Tadhkirat al-Huffadh - Imam adh-Dhahabi

Tadkhirat ul-Huffadh, is another book of the imam adh-Dhahabi, author of Siyar 'alam an-Nubalae, which lists the great Imams of the Hadith, the scholars Hafidh, the great rapporteurs and memorizers of the Hadith.

It is the greatest collection in this theme and the most well-known, it is classified by generations, from the first to that of the imam himself.

This edition has been edited from the Indian edition, it is not published otherwise to this day. And it contains three complementary works in place of the 5th volume:

• Dhayl Tadhkiratu Huffadh of his pupil al-Hafidh al-Husseini
• Lahdh ul-Alhadh bi Dhayl Tabaqat al-Huffadh of Hafidh ibn Fahd al-Mekki
• Dhayl Tabaqat Huffadh of Hafidh as-Souyouti
