The legal rules contained in Al-Umm of Imam Shafii

Thesis of Magisterium, obtained excellent mention at the University of Riyadh, in which the author endeavored to list the principles and legal rules that the Imam ash-Shafii quoted in his immense reference book, al-Umm . He then classified and organized them in Qawa'id and Dawabit. For each rule he recalls the words of the Imam ash-Shafii, the proofs, and then the words of the Imams Mujtahidin in the Madhhab Shafii about the said rules.
