Ibn Taymiyyah wa Mawqufuhu min at-Turath as-Sufi

The efforts of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah in refuting the arguments of heretics by Lotfi Abu Khasheem.
The author of this book has obtained a doctorate degree from the Department of ‘Aqeedah at the Islamic University of the Prophet in Madinah, earning an excellent grade with first honours. Several sheikhs have praised the book, including: Dr. Saleh Al-‘Aqeel, Dr. Saud Al-Khalaf and Dr. Muhammad Al-Khamis, and they explained that it is a valuable research, in which its author made a praiseworthy effort.
The book is distinguished by:
- Its explanation of the innocence of the legal texts from the falsehood attached to them and the contradictions of the innovators’ dubious arguments, and that they have no authentic connexion to the divine texts.
- Its collection of the general arguments of the people of heresy, all refused the author, and which no reader may find them exclusively collected in a similar book; they were also thoroughly disproved by Sheikh of Islam.
- The author was not contented with mentioning Sheikh al-Islam’s refutation of the innovators’ argument, he also presented a report on the methodology of the rightly guided ancestors on the issue, quoting the words of Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him.
