Al-'Awasim min al-Qawasim fi Tahqiq Mawaqif as-Sahabah - Ibn al-'Arabi

This book of Ibn Al-'Arabi deals with the position of the Companions after the death of the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. It is therefore a book dealing with the virtues (Manaqib) and history (Tarikh), but also a book of defense of the noble companions because it is the Aqida of the people of the Sunnah that to love them and defend them, and only the people of innovation and Kufr can afford to criticize and insult the Sahaba, because criticizing the Sahaba is of course criticize the Prophet who guides and educated them, and the refuge with Allah.

Good edition annotated by Sheikh Muhib ad-Din al-Khatib, an Egyptian scholar known for his criticism of the Shiites, his defense of companions (notes related to historical references, certain expressions and sources of athars and hadiths).
