Al-Muqtafi’ li Tarikh Abi Shaamah, by Àlam-ad-Din al-Qàssim Ibn Muhàmmad Ibn Yússuf al-Birzalí 

This book was written by Alam Ad-Din Al-Birzali (665-739 AH). His full name is Alam Ad-Din Al-Qassim Ibn Muhammad Iin Yusuf Ibn Zaki Ad-Din Muhammad Ibn Yusuf Ibn Abi Yaddas Al-Birzali Al-Ishbili Ash-Shafi’i. He is the Imam, ash-Sheikh, Al-Hafiz, and the historian. It is a chronicle of events during the life of its author, between 665 and 721 AH, in which he reports births, deaths and significant events, year by year, month by month, according to the chronology. A dive into the 7th and 8th Hegira centuries and a real treasure for historians and biographers.
